T.H.R.I.V.E. Foundation is a 501(c)3 Public Charity formed in 2023 with the mission to create an environment that provides educational and practical training of children and adults, empowering them to sustainably improve the quality of their lives.
Thus far, the non-profit has focused its efforts on improving the facilities, infrastructure, and educational resources within Saint Maria Gorretti Primary School (SMG), a day school, boarding school, and orphanage located in the impoverished, rural community of Kyojjomanyi, Uganda.
I began collaborating with the founders of T.H.R.I.V.E. early in its development, and would ultimately build out their visual identity, branded collateral, donation appeals, and website.

PROBLEM + PROCESS
When the organization first approached me, T.H.R.I.V.E. Foundation had only a mission, a board of directors, and a rough idea of a name. SMG itself had received one charitable grant, but direly needed a more robust and sustainable source of funding.
My objectives were to:
Consult on the org’s name to secure a trademark and domain
Create a clear, impactful visual identity that represented education and upward mobility while conveying brand cohesion
Attain non-profit recognition on platforms to reduce overhead
Build out a digital workplace infrastructure for board members
Design and publish a well-ordered, engrossing, and informative website that provided strong calls to action and a secure, seamless donation platform for visitors
Students at SMG await their lunch as it is prepared outside one of the school’s original kitchen facilities
